This product has not yet been released to the public and therefore I cannot show more at this time. However, I am happy to share a bit about the nature of this project, my role, and some of the key experiences I gained from my time leading this program. Below is an overview to provide context:
Project Overview
The goal of this project was to redesign one of the top selling nasal cpap masks in the Philips portfolio.
Key Challenges:
Simplify the current design
Improve usability and overall performance
Maintain the legacy and trust of the current design
Improve environmental sustainability
Design it to be a part of a family of masks utilizing Philips DLS
My Role
I was brought onto this project as the Lead Industrial Designer. During the duration of this program, I led the product design from concept sketch to final CAD surfacing. Working closely with the business and our customers, I embedded human-centric design principles into our approach to ensure the end product would not only satisfy the business objectives, but the needs of the end user as well.
